This program is used in Dental schools. Currently 14 schools are Trojan clients.

There are special set up steps within the program that must be done before using Trojan.

AxiUm support will help them with everything the installation. We rarely ever get calls from these offices except to replace any missing CDs.



Initial Load Procedure

  1. Insert the Trojan Benefit Service Vendor Initial load CD in to the computer

  2. Open Axium

  3. Click on Maintenance on the toolbar

  4. Click on the Insurance tab in the Maintenance window

  5. Open Trojan Utilities

 

  1. Click on Import Trojan

  2. Type or browse for the CD drive

  3. Click Okay

 


Web Update Procedure


  1. Users must stay out of Trojan during the update
  2. Double click the Trojan Communicator icon on the desktop
  1. Once file transfer is complete, click the first option
  1. Open Axium

  2. Click on Maintenance on the toolbar

  3. Click on the Insurance tab in the Maintenance window

  4. Open Trojan Utilities

 

  1. Click on Import Trojan

  2. Type or browse for C:\tro\, click on it to highlight it

  3. Click Okay

 

  1. When the update in Axium is finished, maximize the Trojan Communicator
  2. Click option 2
  3. Click YES to confirm the update has been processed

CD Update Procedure


  1. Users must stay out of Trojan during the update

  2. Insert the Trojan monthly update CD in to the computer

  3. Open Axium

  4. Click on Maintenance on the toolbar

  5. Click on the Insurance tab in the Maintenance window

  6. Open Trojan Utilities

 

  1. Click on Import Trojan

  2. Type or browse for the CD drive

  3. Click Okay

 

Errors

No Trojan Utilities options There is an option in the AXiUm program that needs to be selected.

 

Find Practice Options, Patient Options, "Use Trojan for lookup"
Trojan Plan Number is missing Could be a few things Trojan deleted that plan on a past update click

The office missed processing a download at some point click

Check their Trojan Benefit Plan list. Active Trojan plan is in BLACK 
Pending Deletion Trojan plans are in RED
When Trojan deletes the plan, the deletion date shows next to the plan
Trojan updates the plan with the same TPN, but Axium will not allow the TPN to be reused once it's deleted.
This is programming thing. Have no idea if this is on their radar to be fixed.  

   

Available Plans, Pending Delete Plans, and Deleted Plans

There is a Trojan Benefit Plan List
Active Trojan plans that are available to link and view are in Black
Trojan Plans that are pending deletion are in Red
When Trojan deletes a plan, the delete date shows
Trojan updates that Trojan plan number,  but AxiUm will not allow that TPN to be reused once it is deleted.

Viewing Trojan Plans Outside Patient Files

Open and sign into Exam Academic program
Click on Maintenance icon
Click on Insurance Tab
Click on Benefit Plans icon
In the "criteria" field enter either the Trojan plan number, employer name, or group number
Click on the corresponding column for the search
