This integration is an "import" integration. The client uses the Trojan Stand Alone Windows program and imports the Trojan insurance data into the Diamond Dental Program.


Installation (a normal ETW install)

  1. Must be beta version of the ETW program

  2. Follow the instructions for a Stand Alone install. 

  3. Turn on Export button and Set up the export path

    go to Set Up menu

    go to Technical Support Functions, enter password of the day

    select #2 Turn Export Button On then the Set Path for Exported Plans screen will appear   

    Click Set to Default and save

     

Set up for import into Diamond Dental  for more current version

  1. Open the Diamond Dental program
  2. Click on Utilities from the Diamond Dental Main Menu
  1. Click User Defaults
  1. Click into the little box next to Use Trojan Data
  2. Click the Path to Trojan.exe button
  1. Type the path to the Trojan program. The example will be the path they most likely will need to type.

Update Procedure

  1. Follow the usual steps for a Stand Alone data update. 

  2. Set up and Update Tab, download a benefit update, follow the prompts.


Linking patients to Trojan plans

  1. From the Account Information Entry (patient screen), click on Insurance button

  2. From the Insurance Subscriber Information screen, click on Link to Trojan

  3. The Trojan Stand Alone Windows program will open

  4. Search for the employer plan needed

  5. From the benefit view screen, select Export Plan. Wait for the message that the plan has been exported, then click Exit to Windows button

  6. The employer information will import into the patient's insurance screens

 

 


Viewing Trojan in Patient screen

  1. From the Account Information Entry (patient screen), click on Insurance button

  2. From the Insurance Subscriber Information screen, click on Show Trojan Data


Viewing Trojan out of patient screen

  1. Click the Trojan Benefit Service icon on the desktop

  2. Search for the employer in Trojan

  3. In order to Import the plan to Diamond Dental you must have clicked on the Trojan button through Diamond Dental program.


Errors

No Trojan options in the insurance screen The Use Trojan Data is not selected in User defaults Do the set up steps click
Go through the steps of the linking and no data imports to Diamond Dental Path for export may not be set in Trojan Stand Alone program

Set up the export path. click

<SHRUG> Call Diamond Dental
 
  1. Make sure ETW is v3.17 or higher
  2. In the Technical Support Functions menu, turn Export Button On and set path to default


   
   
The path to the ETW executable file is incorrect in Diamond dental. 
  1. Go to Utilities > User Defaults
  2. click on Trojan.exe path and type in the correct path to the trojan.exe
